Role Overview

The role of Carpenter involves building and maintaining structures with a focus on high-quality workmanship. The candidate will apply their expertise in construction and remodeling trades, using appropriate techniques, tools, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with specifications, quality, cost control, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Installing doors and setting associated hardware securely
Positioning and fixing windows appropriately
Preparing layouts for staircases and common rafters
Constructing formwork according to project plans
Interpreting blueprints effectively for project execution
Estimating materials requirements with mathematical and analytical skills

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrated experience as a Carpenter, preferably within the hospitality sector
In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, methods, and materials
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities
Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Physical strength and manual dexterity to perform demanding carpentry work
Detail-oriented approach ensuring precision in all workmanship
Basic mathematics proficiency for accurate measurement and calculations
Comprehensive understanding of safety standards and procedures related to carpentry
Flexibility to manage changing priorities and schedules
Customer-centric attitude aiming to uphold excellence
