Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role in Chennai for a Cameraman. The selected candidate will handle camera operations for a range of marketing and advertising assignments, including social media creatives, promotional content, and digital out-of-home campaigns. The role includes preparing and managing camera gear, working closely with creative and production teams to capture planned footage, and delivering visually strong output that follows brand standards. Work will span both studio and on-location shoots, with responsibility for adjusting lighting and camera parameters and coordinating with editors and producers to keep the post-production process running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional camera equipment for marketing, promotional, and advertising shoots.
• Set up, manage, and handle camera gear before and during production.
• Work with creative, production, directing, and editing teams to execute the planned shot list.
• Capture footage that matches brand requirements and maintains high visual quality.
• Adjust lighting, exposure, framing, and other camera settings as needed for each shoot.
• Contribute to both studio-based and on-location filming assignments.
• Support editors and producers to help ensure an efficient post-production workflow.
• Follow deadlines, creative briefs, and production requirements consistently.

Qualifications

• Hands-on capability with professional cameras and a clear understanding of camera controls and settings.
• Practical knowledge of lighting arrangements and methods used in video and television production.
• Understanding of the full video production cycle, from pre-shoot planning through post-production support.
• Exposure to TV production or a comparable broadcast setting will be an added advantage.
• Ability to interpret creative instructions, collaborate with directors and producers, and deliver within timelines.
• Strong eye for detail, composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
• Must be comfortable working on-site in Chennai, including occasional longer working hours depending on production demands.
• Formal training or certification in cinematography, film, media, or a related discipline is preferred.
