About the Role

As the Cafe Manager at Ivan's Pies, you will be central to managing daily operations at our newly revamped cafe located in Braeside, Greater Melbourne Area. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a committed team and contribute to the ongoing success of a well-loved local cafe.

Key Duties

• Oversee all aspects of cafe operations such as scheduling staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service standards.
• Maintain superior food quality and presentation to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Design and execute strategies aimed at increasing sales, optimizing operational efficiency, and elevating the overall client experience.
• Create and nurture a positive and cooperative team culture by offering guidance and support to employees.
• Track and analyze important performance indicators to continuously improve business outcomes.
• Work closely with the extended Ivan's Pies team to ensure cafe activities align with the company's larger goals and vision.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in managing cafes or within hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership qualities with a capacity to encourage, motivate, and lead a team effectively.
• A commitment to outstanding customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Culinary abilities are a bonus, including the capacity to assist in food preparation tasks.
• Experience in inventory control, managing costs, and handling financial reports.
• Flexible, creative problem solver with an aptitude for data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively.
