Overview
In the role of Business System Analyst at Avery Dennison, you will serve as a critical link bridging business requirements with technology solutions. Your main objective will be to analyze, enhance, and maintain enterprise business systems to boost operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and help meet strategic goals across various departments.
Primary Duties
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document both functional requirements and technical specifications for system upgrades.
- Identify system issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis, then develop and apply appropriate technical or process-based solutions.
- Oversee and execute system testing phases, including user acceptance testing, to confirm robust system performance before launch.
- Chart existing business processes and pinpoint areas where automation, integration, and ongoing improvements are feasible.
- Create comprehensive documentation, process flow maps, and deliver user training sessions for various teams.
Qualifications
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable discipline.
- Prior proven experience in roles such as Business System Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent positions within enterprise IT environments.
- Strong expertise in gathering requirements, mapping processes, and implementing system testing methodologies.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional analytical capabilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills across functions and effective stakeholder engagement.

- The position follows a hybrid work model based out of the Longford facility.
