About the Role

AZOROM is engaged in a contract with ESB to support Electric Ireland’s Business Pricing team. This role involves contributing to pricing strategies for electricity and gas targeting small to large business clients. The responsibilities include tariff management, fixed price product development, and tailored customer pricing offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with electricity and gas price setting activities for commercial customers, including review of tariffs and bespoke pricing solutions.
  • Analyze pricing drivers, market trends, competitor pricing, and forecasting data to facilitate accurate and competitive pricing decisions.
  • Maintain and enhance pricing models, tools, and systems, collaborating with IT and other departments as needed.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders across Business Markets, Forecasting, Reporting, and Customer Solutions to support pricing adjustments and new product initiatives.
  • Ensure pricing documentation, reports, and dashboards are kept current and accurate for effective decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, simplification, and increased efficiency in pricing workflows.
  • Manage pricing for monthly billing of Large Energy Users.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with aptitude to interpret complex datasets.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel, including VBA scripting and Power BI for reporting and modelling purposes.
  • Solid understanding of pricing inputs, data systems, and their relevance in developing price points.
  • Effective communication skills enabling explanation of complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

Additional Information
