Job Overview

Join Hayley Dexis as a Business Intelligence Analyst based in Halesowen, West Midlands. This permanent contract role involves working 40 hours weekly on-site. You will be instrumental in providing accurate and insightful business reports and dashboards to help drive decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and upkeep dashboards, datasets, and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Birst, Phocas, and Snowflake.
• Identify and resolve reporting issues thoroughly by validating data and performance.
• Collaborate tightly with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, support testing, and guide change management initiatives.
• Ensure reporting solutions are reliable, accessible, and comply with data quality and governance standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in supporting BI platforms, dashboards, reports, and analytics within a business context, preferably using Phocas, Birst, Power BI, or Snowflake.
• Exceptional attention to detail in checking data sources, calculations, filters, permissions, and output accuracy.
• Logical and evidence-based troubleshooting skills for data or report discrepancies.
• Competency in translating business needs into technical reporting requirements.
• Understanding of data governance principles including data quality, access controls, and confidentiality protection.
