About the Company
Lenskart is a major eyewear retailer in India, known for offering fashionable and budget-friendly eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. The company is growing its footprint and is looking for driven professionals to support expansion.
Role Overview
This position focuses on finding and securing suitable commercial retail spaces for new Lenskart stores in the assigned region. The role involves market mapping, property evaluation, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination until each store is launched.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify appropriate commercial retail properties for upcoming Lenskart store openings in the assigned region.
- Manage retail property searches and work closely with property developers, landlords, project consultants, and brokers.
- Evaluate locations and catchment areas to determine the viability of new store sites.
- Negotiate rental terms, finalize commercial agreements, and discuss landlord scope of work requirements.
- Support legal due diligence and the documentation process needed for property acquisition and lease signing.
- Coordinate with internal teams across departments until the store is successfully launched.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of growth opportunities through both organic expansion and acquisitions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has experience in business development, property acquisition, or property scouting, along with a strong negotiation mindset and a self-driven approach. The role also calls for analytical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to perform in a fast-moving environment.
