Role Context
The Growth and Business team at Apna drives user engagement and revenue expansion across various business lines, dealing with both candidates and employers. The team has been pivotal in positioning Apna as a market leader within 18 months post-product launch by managing diverse approaches such as marketing, sales, search engine/app store optimization, product innovations, partnerships, and tactical financial resource allocation while balancing costs and realizing benefits over different timelines. To fuel the next stage of rapid business expansion and product development, Apna seeks to strengthen this team by recruiting talented professionals.
Job Overview
We seek motivated and competitive Business Development Managers who excel in fast sales cycles and have experience engaging in C-level conversations with corporate clients. This is an individual contributor role fundamental to meeting our ambitious goals for acquiring new customers and expanding revenue in the Enterprise segment.
Responsibilities
- Market and sell online enterprise recruitment solutions tailored to corporate clients by understanding their unique business needs.
- Meet and surpass sales targets by onboarding new clients and growing accounts with existing customers.
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads via referrals, cold calls, social media outreach, and other channels.
- Conduct comprehensive area mapping, initiate prospecting efforts, negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and manage all necessary contract documentation.
- Persistently pursue prospects to cultivate strong personal relationships and secure business opportunities.
- Serve as an ambassador for Apna’s suite of products and services, promoting the company ecosystem.
- Engage as a key early member in a startup environment, leading your domain expertise through this dynamic growth phase.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 4 years experience managing large accounts, preferably in the HRTech industry.
- Proven client stakeholder management skills with capability to engage senior leadership and handle client expectations effectively.
- Strong operational and commercial acumen with competence in negotiation and deal closure.
- Fluency in at least two languages with excellent communication abilities.
- Complete end-to-end experience in lead generation through to deal closure.
