Overview
Brakes UK, the largest foodservice supplier in the country, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Independent Sales Team. This role is home/field-based primarily around Newport or Hereford, offering up to £38,000 annually plus an uncapped bonus, company car or allowance, and a home-based contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and capture new independent business opportunities to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop strong relationships with local independent food market players by leveraging your passion for food.
- Design customized culinary solutions that help customers save time and reduce costs.
- Achieve growth and profit objectives, earning rewards aligned with performance.
- Introduce new clients smoothly, collaborating with Area Sales Managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Monitor competitors and marketplace trends to deliver innovative solutions and insights as part of the world's leading food wholesaler.
- Consistently meet or exceed market targets, demonstrating proactive and strategic sales capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- Ideally experience in field sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commercially driven with ambition and determination to impact business results positively.
- Customer-centric attitude with confidence in extensive fieldwork.
- Hospitality or foodservice knowledge is advantageous, but a comprehensive induction and training program will be provided.
