About the Role
The Business Development Manager (BDM) acts as the primary client liaison within assigned accounts or groups of accounts. This pivotal member of the Business Development team drives execution of market-entry plans to establish and expand a targeted client base, focusing primarily on sales of software solutions in the FX and CFD markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders in both existing and potential accounts, including partners and customers.
- Identify and proactively pursue opportunities to market and sell software products within the FX and CFD domains.
- Craft, deliver, and negotiate proposals covering contractual and commercial aspects.
- Manage and develop a pipeline of new software sales prospects.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and developments to inform strategy.
- Engage in strategic brainstorming sessions and contribute to the rollout of innovative business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance the company’s brand presence and professional reputation.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Business Development, preferably with software sales background.
- Familiarity with FinTech and SaaS sectors, especially focused on FX and CFD markets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate and influence across different organizational levels.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
- A methodical, structured approach to sales and business development activities.
- Understanding of complex technological implementations.
- Strong analytical skills with quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly self-driven and proactive, demonstrating ownership and accountability in meeting objectives.
- A team-oriented mindset comfortable in dynamic, consulting-style work environments with limited structure.
