Role overview
An opportunity is open for a Java Architect to take ownership of the architecture and technical direction of a large-scale web application landscape. The role sits within a global digital transformation and IT services setting, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-scale reliability, cloud modernization, and system performance.
This position is structured as a contractual engagement and is based remotely within India.
What you will do
- Set and maintain the technical direction for Java-based web applications.
- Design enterprise systems that are built for scale and high throughput.
- Drive SaaS integrations and cloud-native modernization efforts.
- Investigate systems under heavy load and redesign them to improve stability.
- Resolve difficult production issues and strengthen long-term platform reliability.
- Advise engineering teams on architecture, coding standards, and solution design.
- Shape architecture decisions across the full software development lifecycle.
Technical background needed
- 10 to 15 years of strong experience in Java architecture.
- Solid practical knowledge of Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API design.

- Ability to improve application performance, scalability, and resilience.
