Overview
The Business Development Analyst will be instrumental in fostering growth and expanding the organization's footprint. The role involves analyzing market dynamics, uncovering fresh business prospects, and crafting strategies to leverage these opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify growth and investment avenues aligned with corporate strategic aims.
- Engage with brokers, developers, investors, and consultants to explore new market possibilities.
- Conduct comprehensive site and market assessments for potential deals, including demographic, accessibility, mapping, competitor, and general site evaluations.
- Perform market research and feasibility analyses, overseeing underwriting processes by compiling and integrating essential market and competitor data.
- Draft various deal documents such as Term Sheets, Letters of Intent (LOI), Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Expressions of Interest, and NDAs.
- Support review and negotiation phases of LOIs, MOUs, and Hotel Management Agreements until final deal closure.
- Regularly update brand presentations and corporate materials with current data and developments.
- Maintain and update the Deal Pipeline List by capturing crucial project details and progress statuses.
- Develop presentations for the Board of Directors and senior leadership during transaction phases, providing project updates, addressing challenges, and seeking approvals.
- Assist in the creation of proposals and pitch documents for potential opportunities across various regions.
- Participate in significant hotel conferences and seminars, building professional networks and representing the company.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support and contribute to various projects and responsibilities as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum of two years' relevant experience within the hotel or hospitality sectors.
- Experience in hotel development, feasibility studies, or consulting is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently across interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work diligently under tight deadlines and in a team environment.
