Overview
A renowned international logistics and support services firm specializing in maritime and industrial sectors seeks an experienced Business Analyst. This key role supports strategic decisions through insightful financial and operational data analysis. You will create detailed cost models, financial forecasts, and profitability studies to back commercial proposals and bids, ensuring all pricing and financial models are precise and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive cost models and forecast financial outcomes for various commercial projects.
- Conduct profitability assessments to aid tender submissions and proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Operations, and commercial units to collect, verify, and unify financial and operational data.
- Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess commercial risks and opportunities.
- Maintain and improve pricing tools, financial models, and cost data repositories to streamline the bidding process.
- Contribute to management reporting, business case development, and enhancing pricing methodologies and corporate governance frameworks.
- Monitor performance metrics to support robust financial planning and commercial success.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Controlling, or Supply Chain Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, profitability assessment, and management reporting.
- Highly skilled in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Business Objects is advantageous.
- Professional fluency in English is essential.
- Big Four consulting exposure and ACCA qualification are viewed as strong assets.
