Role Overview
The Finance team provides essential accounting, risk assessment, strategic guidance, and growth initiatives across the business. We are currently seeking a Functional Business Analyst to enhance and expand our Axiom platform capabilities to fulfill global regulatory reporting obligations and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand the Axiom platform to incorporate additional geographic regions, products, and reporting mandates.
- Convert business goals into detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications.
- Create end-to-end process documentation and develop comprehensive playbooks for scalable solution deployment.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), including the development of test cases and verification of outcomes.
- Provide support to global regulatory reporting teams, notably related to EBA reporting such as CoRep and FinRep.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders from Finance, Product, and Engineering departments.
- Perform gap analyses to identify compliance risks and root causes, escalating issues when necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in utilizing the Axiom platform.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and analytical reporting purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products, including trade and transaction lifecycles and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Skilled in preparing business requirements and comprehensive functional specifications.
- Strong background in regulatory reporting with a focus on EBA frameworks like CoRep and FinRep.
- Experience leading UAT initiatives, including test case creation and collaboration with developers and business stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder engagement across multiple time zones.
- Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Desirable Attributes
- Familiarity with Axiom's function within regulatory reporting contexts.
- Experience supporting finance systems at fintech companies or regulated financial institutions.
- Understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks beyond the EMEA region.
