Biomedical Research Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Research Analyst to join our team remotely. The role offers full-time contract employment with an annual compensation package ranging from $350,000 to $500,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ownership of evaluation frameworks tailored to healthcare AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage evaluation frameworks including benchmarks and validation protocols for AI applications in healthcare.
• Conduct in-depth research related to medical reasoning, evidence-based decision making, and clinical workflows.
• Develop benchmark datasets and evaluation settings that reflect authentic healthcare scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and clinicians to assess and refine healthcare-oriented AI technologies.
• Analyze system performance metrics, safety aspects, and the quality of reasoning in medical use cases.
• Author detailed research reports and establish best-practice guidelines for evaluating AI in healthcare.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess an advanced degree in medicine, public health, nursing, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or a closely related healthcare discipline.
• Have deep expertise in clinical practice, healthcare operations, or biomedical research methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in medical, clinical, or healthcare research projects.
• Strong understanding of research design principles and the healthcare decision-making process.
• Excellent analytical reasoning abilities paired with strong scientific communication skills.
