This contract opportunity is for an experienced biochemistry specialist who can help improve the scientific accuracy of advanced AI systems. The work is fully remote and centered on applying deep subject-matter expertise to train and evaluate model outputs. A background in AI is not required; the emphasis is on precision, strong scientific judgment, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
The position is designed for PhD-level professionals in biochemistry or closely related disciplines who want to contribute to next-generation AI research in areas such as protein folding, metabolic flux, enzyme kinetics, nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, and drug-target interactions.

Key responsibilities
- Create challenging, expert-level biochemistry questions that can test AI reasoning across topics such as nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, and drug-target interactions.
- Develop benchmark-quality solutions that are technically rigorous and presented in a clear step-by-step format.
- Review AI-generated scientific outputs, including biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs, for accuracy, safety, and alignment with scientific standards.
- Spot errors in model reasoning, including issues with stoichiometry, stereochemistry, and metabolic logic, and provide structured feedback to improve performance.
Candidate profile
- Applicants should hold a PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a closely related discipline, or be in the final stages of completing one.
- Strong knowledge is needed in areas such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or similar fields.
- The role requires the ability to explain complex biochemical concepts in precise, well-organized written form.
- Attention to detail is essential when handling chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental procedures.
- No prior experience with AI tools or workflows is necessary.
Preferred background
- Exposure to data annotation, evaluation, or quality review processes.
- Familiarity with computational biology or biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Experience in scientific writing, peer review, or technical documentation.
