Role Overview

Become a valued member of The Chedi Al Bait’s hospitality team in Sharjah as a Barista, contributing to delivering outstanding guest experiences. This onsite position involves preparing quality drinks, upholding excellent service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere within a luxurious setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve an extensive variety of hot and cold drinks including specialty coffees, teas, and signature beverages.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the beverage selection, ingredients, preparation processes, and presentation quality.
• Warmly welcome guests, interact professionally, and accurately take orders.
• Anticipate customer preferences, offer tailored suggestions, and ensure an exceptional satisfaction level.
• Skillfully operate coffee machines and related devices while maintaining cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Keep the barista station, service counters, and equipment tidy and organized.
• Properly receive, store, and label consumables like coffee beans, milk, and syrups.
• Perform daily inventories of beverages, supplies, and barista tools to support uninterrupted service.
• Restock stations with all necessary items such as cups, utensils, napkins, and ingredients.
• Promptly escalate any guest complaints or concerns to supervisory personnel.
• Comply consistently with hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing food and beverage role.
• Strong expertise in coffee making techniques, espresso machine use, and beverage delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple orders in a dynamic environment.
• Meticulous attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Professional and well-groomed appearance consistent with hotel standards.
• Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays.
• Positive, proactive attitude coupled with strong teamwork skills.
• Basic organizational skills for inventory management and station arrangement.

Preferred Qualifications
