Overview

This role requires experienced baking professionals who excel in producing a variety of bakery products within a high-volume production environment. Candidates should have strong skills in preparing doughs, batters, and icings according to precise recipes and be capable of managing specialized customer orders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, breads, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, alongside icings and frostings following established recipes or specific customer requests.
• Bake various doughs and batters ensuring quality and consistency in finished products.
• Handle specialty orders requiring particular attention to customer specifications.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards throughout production to assure product excellence.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to guarantee cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Operate and adjust baking and processing machinery effectively to facilitate production.
• Organize and keep inventory updated for seamless operations.
• Set up and clean machinery and immediate workspaces post-use.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to less than 5 years of bakery experience focusing on breads and rolls.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent educational background.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and control processes within industrial bakery environments.
• Ability to work onsite in a large volume bakery setting.
• Must possess own transportation for commuting purposes.
• Capable of handling fast-paced, repetitive tasks under tight deadlines and physical demands such as heavy lifting.
• Skills in hand-eye coordination and maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
• Strong dependability, accuracy, sound judgment, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work reliably as part of a team.
