Role Overview
We are seeking National Training Standard (NTS) certified Credentialed Background Investigators to join us at our Melbourne, FL location. Successful candidates will perform detailed interviews with subjects, their employers, associates, and references, as well as analyze records to resolve issues or verify background, reputation, character, suitability, and qualifications. All findings must be thoroughly documented, and investigation reports submitted within strict deadlines.
Key Qualifications
- Strong commitment to national security missions.
- Exceptional integrity, work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to walk, sit, type, or stand for extended periods.
- Effective time management capabilities.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including ability to produce detailed and lengthy reports.
- Prior experience conducting background investigations.
- Typically holds a University degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience with at least 3 years related work history.
- Proven track record of quality, timeliness, and productivity.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain clearance based on Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as regular local travel is required; use of public transportation is acceptable if practical.
Security Clearance
Candidates must be favorably adjudicated for a Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5 or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
