About Rocket Lab

Rocket Lab is a space company that provides launch services end to end, along with spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite parts, and related products. Its goal is to expand access to space. The company’s rockets and satellites support a wide range of missions around the world, including scientific research, Earth observation, climate-focused missions, national security work, and new technology demonstrations.

Its Electron rocket is now among the most frequently launched U.S. rockets each year and has carried more than 230 satellites into orbit. In parallel, Rocket Lab is developing Neutron, a reusable medium-lift launch vehicle intended for larger constellation deployment. The Space Systems division creates satellites, payloads, and components, including hardware selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and parts used on the James Webb Space Telescope.

Important information

For roles in U.S. offices, applicants must meet export control requirements under ITAR and related U.S. Government regulations. Eligible status may include U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylum status, or other required authorizations from the relevant U.S. authorities.

Rocket Lab is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or harass based on protected characteristics. This applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including hiring, promotion, pay, training, transfer, leave, and termination.

For U.S. candidates needing an accommodation during the application or interview process, Rocket Lab provides a dedicated contact for disability-related support. Messages should be sent only for this purpose, and responses may take up to two business days.

For New Zealand roles, background checks will be completed before any offer is made. These checks include nationality verification because access to certain equipment and data is restricted under U.S. ITAR rules. Under those regulations, applicants may not be eligible if they do not hold citizenship of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the European Union, or a NATO country, or if they have ineligible dual citizenship or nationality.
