Role Overview
We are seeking highly experienced automotive engineers specialized in specific vehicle components to provide expert support during client workshops, specification assessments, and conducting technical cost evaluations.
Candidate Profile
- Have between 10 and 20 years of extensive, practical experience in automotive engineering.
- Previous roles include Engineering Manager, Team Lead, Module Owner, Component Owner, or Senior Technical Specialist.
- Work background from either Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of one or multiple specialized vehicle components or modules.
- Experienced throughout the lifecycle—from concept development, through validation and industrialization, culminating in Start of Production (SOP).
- Proficient in collaborating with suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering and procurement groups.
- Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and workshops with client engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze engineering specifications to detect any over-engineering.
- Critically challenge engineering assumptions, timelines for testing, and certification prerequisites.
- Identify and propose technical opportunities to reduce costs.
- Assist in quantifying the potential impact of cost-saving measures.
- Evaluate the feasibility of proposed engineering modifications.
- Provide support during Design to Validation (DtV) processes and module workshops.
- Convert advanced technical knowledge into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
