Associate Product Manager

About SOCi and the Role

SOCi.ai is a pioneer in AI-driven marketing solutions tailored for multi-location enterprises, focusing on local and AI search visibility. The Associate Product Manager will support enhancement and feature delivery related to SOCi's foundational platform capabilities, encompassing Data Management, Single Sign-On (SSO), User Roles, Account Hierarchy, Reseller Plans, Localization, and the Check My Presence (CMP) system. This platform underlies all other product components, making the role integral to the product's overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing product features and meeting sprint goals
• Convert product requirements into precise user stories and tasks
• Ensure product demands align with engineering implementations
• Monitor feature development and identify potential risks or impediments
• Validate features against acceptance standards and user expectations
• Support product launches by aiding internal communications and documentation
• Maintain and contribute to comprehensive product documentation
• Collaborate across Platform domains including identity, access management, localization, back-office workflows, and reseller configurations
• Help document identity and access-related requirements, including handling complex role and account structures
• Assist in tracking data quality, integration, and ensuring consistency of localization affectations
• Coordinate with multiple Product Managers to handle cross-team dependencies inherent to platform changes
• Leverage AI tools continuously for research, documentation, requirement writing, and analytic tasks
• Support testing, quality assurance, and readiness activities for product releases

Responsibilities Not Included

• Owning the strategic product roadmap or long-term vision
• Deciding prioritization independently across product areas
• Leading comprehensive cross-functional projects or initiatives
• Being responsible for business outcomes like revenue or customer retention
• Managing or supervising other employees

Success Criteria and Required Skills

• Ability to work fully remotely in the United States
• 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in product management, engineering, or related fields
• Foundational knowledge of product development lifecycle and Agile principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
• Strong enthusiasm for integrating AI tools as an essential daily work component
• Competencies including building trusting relationships, decision making, creativity, effective communication, time management, organization, and analytical thinking
• Flexibility to adapt to role changes and additional duties as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or prior experience in product management or SaaS environments
• Familiarity with collaboration and project management platforms like Jira and Confluence
• Basic understanding of APIs, user experience principles, and data analysis
• Exposure to platform or infrastructure topics such as authentication, role-based access control, data models, or account hierarchies
• Experience working with AI assistants or large language models to enhance product tasks
• Effective daily use of AI tools to boost work efficiency
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

Compensation and Additional Information

The salary for this full-time position ranges between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, dependent upon the candidate's skills, experience, and educational background.
