About the Role

Our client, a prominent European alternative investment firm, is looking to add an Associate to their Infrastructure Investments division based in Munich. The role involves supporting investments in infrastructure funds, co-investments, and secondary deals while collaborating with senior team members throughout the entire investment process.

Primary Responsibilities

Assess infrastructure investment opportunities across the European and North American markets.
Develop detailed financial models and conduct valuation analyses.
Perform comprehensive due diligence covering commercial, financial, and operational aspects.
Draft materials for investment committees and prepare investment memoranda.
Oversee portfolio performance and assist with portfolio management tasks.
Carry out market and industry research to inform investment decisions.
Engage in discussions with fund managers, consultants, and management teams.
Contribute to fundraising initiatives and investor communication.

Candidate Profile

Two to four years’ professional experience in sectors such as Infrastructure Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A), Infrastructure Advisory, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or similar private market environments.
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative fields.
Proven expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
Strong analytical thinking paired with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Commercially minded with meticulous attention to detail.
Adept at collaborating efficiently within a dynamic and fast-moving team setting.
