About the Role
Our client, a prominent European alternative investment firm, is looking to add an Associate to their Infrastructure Investments division based in Munich. The role involves supporting investments in infrastructure funds, co-investments, and secondary deals while collaborating with senior team members throughout the entire investment process.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess infrastructure investment opportunities across the European and North American markets.
- Develop detailed financial models and conduct valuation analyses.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence covering commercial, financial, and operational aspects.
- Draft materials for investment committees and prepare investment memoranda.
- Oversee portfolio performance and assist with portfolio management tasks.
- Carry out market and industry research to inform investment decisions.
- Engage in discussions with fund managers, consultants, and management teams.
- Contribute to fundraising initiatives and investor communication.
Candidate Profile
- Two to four years’ professional experience in sectors such as Infrastructure Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A), Infrastructure Advisory, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or similar private market environments.
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative fields.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Strong analytical thinking paired with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Commercially minded with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adept at collaborating efficiently within a dynamic and fast-moving team setting.
