Job Responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory compliance by facilitating timely acquisition of licenses, approvals, and clearances critical for uninterrupted business operations.
- Maintain and leverage existing relationships with key officials in State Excise and Revenue departments across Southern States, including Karnataka, Telangana, Pondicherry, and Andhra Pradesh.
- Collaborate with Brewery management, Supply Chain, State Sales Heads, and other regional teams to track and expedite resolution of operational and policy challenges affecting business.
- Support advocacy efforts related to policy with State governments and stakeholders, promoting Ease of Doing Business, pricing structures, Excise Duty reform, and Responsible Drinking initiatives.
- Proactively analyze and influence policy and regulatory legislation that impacts the company's business interests.
- Address diverse issues spanning operations, marketing, regulatory compliance, finance, and taxation as they arise.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in Public Policy, Government Relations, Economic Policy, Taxation, or Excise-related fields is essential.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing capabilities paired with strong networking skills.
- High energy levels to thrive in a dynamic, result-driven environment like Carlsberg.
- Strategic mindset with strong business insight, leadership qualities, and analytical skills to comprehend policy impacts; confident in boardroom discussions but equally ready to engage in operational groundwork.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree preferably in Public Policy, Law, or Communications.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Telugu languages.
- Preferred experience in the Alcoholic Beverage industry.
- Overall professional experience ranging from 4 to 10 years.

- Role requires travel within Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.
