About the Role
RETS Associates is representing a leading institutional investment firm that specializes in Class A Office and Retail properties, seeking to hire an Associate for their Asset Management team based in Santa Monica, CA. This position involves analytical responsibilities that support enhancing asset value through various activities including leasing, development, redevelopment, financings, and dispositions. The firm operates nationally and is expanding its asset management team on the West Coast.
The candidate will work within a highly regarded institutional firm focusing on transactional asset management with office and retail real estate products. This position requires full-time on-site presence, Monday through Friday, at the Santa Monica office.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver analytical support to increase asset value across leasing, development, redevelopment, financing, and sales activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, economics, accounting, or mathematics.
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience at an investment bank or a real estate investment firm.
- Proficiency in cash flow modeling using Excel; experience with ARGUS software is advantageous.
- Exemplary initiative, integrity, and a robust work ethic.
