About the Role
The Assistant Operations Manager will oversee the daily functioning of pharmacy outlets to ensure efficient operations, manage workforce effectively, and enhance sales and profitability while upholding superior customer service standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage timely opening and closing procedures of pharmacy locations.
- Allocate staff resources judiciously to maintain appropriate staffing levels continuously.
- Supervise attendance, shift schedules, and overall workforce productivity.
- Guarantee uninterrupted daily store functioning.
- Track and analyze daily sales figures to assess performance.
- Drive revenue growth and ensure stores meet profit and cost control benchmarks.
- Implement corrective measures to address sales shortfalls.
- Lead and train team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Enhance client satisfaction and loyalty through customer-centric initiatives.
- Promote subscription programs and company products actively.
- Support promotional campaigns and localized marketing efforts.
- Maintain adequate stock of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical items.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage replenishment, and oversee product expiry and rotation to minimize losses.
- Ensure compliance with all internal SOPs and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports.
- Maintain consistent operational discipline across all branches.
