About MiLK&BULL and the Role
MiLK&BULL is a brand-focused creative agency that specializes in crafting impactful branding, packaging, and other design elements that truly connect with audiences. They are seeking a part-time Assistant Graphic Designer to join their remote team and assist in both design execution and supporting the Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare production-ready files for packaging dielines, print specs, social media, web assets, and presentations.
- Apply and extend existing brand systems consistently, including logos, colors, typography, and layout across all deliverables.
- Edit and retouch product and packaging photography; create mockups and case study visuals.
- Keep brand asset libraries well-organized and clearly named to streamline team workflow.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking deadlines, and managing project timelines to ensure steady progress.
- Take direction from the Creative Director and efficiently iterate designs through multiple feedback cycles.
- Design original work under creative direction across branding, packaging, and graphic design projects.
- Contribute creative ideas and take ownership of smaller deliverables as responsibilities increase.
- Manage deadlines effectively while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong skills in layout, typography, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accept direction, work quickly, and meet deadlines reliably.
- Highly organized, dependable, and communicates effectively.
- Comfortable handling multiple projects and various file types concurrently.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of packaging and print production processes, including dielines, bleeds, specs, and proofing.
- Experience with Figma design software.
- Ability to create 3D or realistic mockups using tools like Dimension, Blender, or KeyShot.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills using After Effects.
- Background in product or lifestyle photography.
- Familiarity with web or e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Wix, and basic HTML.
Additional Information
- Work schedule ranges from 5 to 20 hours per week initially, with a flexible timetable that includes some overlap with core hours Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm Eastern Time.
- The position is remote and offers potential growth into a full-time role.
- Compensation starts at $20 per hour.
