Job Overview

This position is responsible for coordinating Athletic Department events along with managing external rental events at all athletic facilities. Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute key Athletic Department events for the Bronco Athletic Association, such as the Bi-Annual Auction, Dinner on the Blue, Hall of Fame Induction, Lyle Smith Society gatherings, and other related events.
  • Engage regularly with the Bronco Athletic Association to coordinate event dates, objectives, and logistical needs for all donor and Board activities.
  • Maintain and manage event schedules, guide the planning and approval workflows, and assist with enforcement of facility use and event management policies under the Assistant AD of Events.
  • Oversee delivery of membership benefits connected to Bronco Athletic Association events.
  • Act as the hospitality liaison on football and basketball game days for all home games and selected away games.
  • Supervise event staff during rental occasions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be responsible for securing assigned facility areas post-event, including turning off lights and locking up.
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with campus units, donors, and community stakeholders.
  • Support the athletics event team with both internal and external group events across all facilities as assigned.
  • Work flexible hours including nights and weekends to cover scheduled events and rentals.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent level of relevant professional experience.

  • At least one year’s experience in event planning, production, and management.

The annual salary for this role is $49,732.80.
