Asset Manager Residential

Role overview

In this position, you will take full ownership of diverse residential property portfolios and act as the main point of contact for all portfolio-related matters. The role combines operational oversight with performance responsibility and follows an investment approach that places ESG considerations at its core.

Key responsibilities

• Run residential portfolios independently, ensuring both property-level and performance accountability.
• Drive proactive asset management by translating strategic directives into concrete actions and by shaping value-focused strategies such as space planning, repositioning, marketing, and leasing concepts.
• Contribute to acquisition planning, carry out feasibility assessments, and assist with transactions, including due diligence and valuation work.
• Prepare and monitor business plans, budgets, and controlling activities at both asset and portfolio level while actively managing performance and risk.
• Oversee maintenance and refurbishment initiatives, coordinate external service providers, and handle matters from contract discussions through final acceptance.
• Lead leasing efforts and coordinate brokers as well as property management partners.

Candidate profile

The role calls for training or academic studies centered on real estate management, or an equivalent additional professional qualification. You should bring several years of experience in managing residential real estate or WEG portfolios. Strong analytical ability, sound judgement, and confident decision-making are important, along with good working knowledge of MS Office. Fluency in German is required, and you should also have basic written and spoken English. We are looking for someone who works carefully, independently, and autonomously while contributing effectively in a team.
