Role purpose
This position is responsible for shaping and rolling out a clear, bank-wide Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) structure. The framework should connect business strategy, balance sheet management, risk appetite, and performance measurement in a consistent way.
A major part of the role is to move the organisation away from a treasury-led profit attribution approach and toward a business-led P&L management model. The goal is to improve transparency and strengthen accountability across the bank’s business lines.
The role also includes redesigning funding and liquidity pricing methods, setting up governance between Treasury and Global Markets, and making sure FTP reflects funding curves, liquidity premiums, optionality costs, behavioural assumptions, capital allocation, and risk-adjusted returns.
Experience
The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of banking experience in areas such as Treasury, ALM, FTP, Finance, Risk Management, Balance Sheet Management, or Treasury Transformation.
Hands-on exposure to building or implementing FTP frameworks in large financial institutions is required, along with strong expertise in balance sheet optimisation, liquidity management, and profitability frameworks.
Experience with RAROC, capital allocation, business performance management, and leading enterprise-wide transformation programmes involving Treasury and Finance teams is also expected.
