About the Company and Position
Teklysium Inc. partners with a prominent architectural and engineering firm in Pasco County, Florida, with a rich history spanning 38 years. The firm seeks a motivated and seasoned Architect or Architectural Designer to join its dynamic team. The role involves handling multiple architectural projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring efficient management and oversight of junior team members.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive contract documents using REVIT starting from the schematic design phase through permitting and construction stages.
- Produce superior quality 3D renderings and virtual tours for both interior and exterior design presentations.
- Develop detailed site layouts and graphics, demonstrating in-depth understanding of zoning laws and land development regulations.
- Manage the bidding process by requesting, receiving, and analyzing bids, alongside preparing Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) specification documents.
- Review and assist with shop drawings as necessary to ensure project compliance.
- Write and enforce CSI specification sections rigorously across all assigned projects.
- Conduct site visits and investigations, participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings to oversee project progress.
- Apply thorough knowledge of building codes and architectural detailing to all projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a Bachelor's (B.S. or B.Arch.) or Master's Degree (M.Arch.) in Architecture.
- Possess at least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, ideally involving commercial, institutional, or complex building projects.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and image editing software for architectural documentation and design work.
- Professional Architect (RA) license is preferred but not mandatory.
