Role Overview

The Applications Administrator is tasked with maintaining the availability, dependability, security, and peak operation of enterprise systems and applications. This is achieved through daily monitoring, upkeep, user management, backups, and optimizing configurations. A significant goal is to promptly address system issues within agreed service levels to reduce business interruptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer user access controls, ensuring timely account provisioning, changes, and removals, alongside conducting regular access reviews to remain compliant with security policies and audits.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Oracle Database Administration certification
  • Oracle SOA Suite Administration or Development certification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) certification or proven expertise in ETL/integration processes
  • Oracle APEX development and administration skills
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) for administration, configuration, reporting, and dashboards
  • Solid understanding of Oracle DBA concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Microsoft Certified System Engineer credential
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration
  • Certification and practical experience in cloud administration
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
