The team embraces clean engineering principles, scalability, and ongoing enhancements, utilizing a modern Microsoft technology stack.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Bring a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the banking sector.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Unix systems, including scripting and automation; possess foundational knowledge of Windows scripting and Active Directory.
- Have prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related software engineering capacity, with proven success in deployment automation and orchestration.
- Master both Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Communicate effectively within cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Appreciate the complexities and gradual nature of DevOps transformation in large enterprises.
- Be comfortable working in Agile development environments.
- Exhibit knowledge in design principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Utilize continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins, TFS, Git, Ansible, Selenium, and Docker.
- Lead, mentor, and guide individuals and teams towards technical excellence.
- Engage with and contribute to open-source projects.
- Influence team dynamics positively by leading through example.
Professional Skills and Personal Attributes
- Familiarity with ITIL best practice frameworks is anticipated.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and operations.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work scenarios.
