About The Business Application Team
This team is dedicated to providing dependable, scalable, and secure tech services and infrastructure, empowering Thumbtack employees with essential internal tools. The team owns the entire lifecycle of these tools, including intake, prioritization, development, implementation, support, and decommissioning.
Role Overview
As an Application Administrator on the Growth & Activations team, you will be instrumental in designing and advancing AI agents and automated workflows throughout the internal tool ecosystem. You will manage and optimize a multifaceted platform supporting Sales, Commercial Operations, and Partnerships. Collaboration with fellow administrators, product managers, and operations leaders is key to delivering diverse projects, spanning backend architecture and efficiency improvements in lead routing and intelligent campaign targeting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, deployment, and administration of AI agents and workflow automations across internal technologies to aid go-to-market teams.
- Refine and enhance workflows that span multiple platforms concerning lead management, sales forecasting, and enabling partners, utilizing tools like Salesforce, Genesys, and middleware.
- Oversee and support a comprehensive suite of technologies, including Salesforce, Pardot, Workato, Ironclad, and various conversational AI platforms.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop integrated, robust backend systems that unify the employee experience.
- Initiate and deliver minimum viable products (MVPs) for novel AI-driven tools and automation projects in a dynamic environment.
- Establish best practices related to data governance and documentation across all managed platforms ensuring their reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing cross-platform administration or platform operations, emphasizing automated workflow development.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing or managing AI agents, chatbots, or advanced large language model (LLM) integrations for business applications.
- A strong engineering and platform-oriented mindset with proficiency in APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions such as Workato.
- Experience managing Salesforce within a broader ecosystem; while Salesforce certification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
- Capability to transform complex business needs into scalable technical solutions across diverse platforms.
- Excellent communication skills bridging technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and curious approach to AI, with a history of independently identifying and implementing AI applications within workflows to address business challenges.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for residents of Ontario or British Columbia is between $84,200 and $108,900 annually. Final compensation depends on job level calibration, qualifications, competencies, and skills.
