Job Overview
This role involves providing customers with an outstanding shopping experience, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the store's appearance to reflect the brand's identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers upon entry in a professional manner.
- Identify customers' needs and assist them in selecting appropriate apparel.
- Clearly explain product details including materials, sizes, colors, and ongoing promotions.
- Consistently meet daily and monthly sales goals.
- Encourage additional or complementary purchases through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Organize and display clothing within the store according to approved merchandising standards.
- Ensure continuous cleanliness of the store and fitting rooms.
- Monitor stock of sizes and colors and report shortages to management.
- Receive new merchandise and assist in sorting, pricing, and displaying items.
- Conduct sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and issue receipts.
- Manage product exchanges and returns following store policies.
- Protect inventory from damage or loss.
- Track stock levels and perform periodic inventory counts as requested.
- Adhere strictly to store policies, attendance, punctuality, and uniform standards.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding customer and sales information.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, resolving issues or escalating to supervisors when needed.
- Participate in promotional campaigns and seasonal events.
- Assist with product photography or preparation for social media promotions when required.
- Prepare daily sales reports and close the cash register if responsible.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in apparel sales or retail is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is necessary.
