AI UI/UX Designer

Role overview

We are looking for an AI UI/UX Designer who can craft clear, engaging, and user-friendly interfaces for products powered by artificial intelligence. This position focuses on understanding user goals, shaping workflow prototypes, and working closely with engineering teams to improve the overall experience through thoughtful, data-informed design.

What you'll do

• Create interface designs for AI-based applications that are easy to use and visually strong.
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished mockups to present design concepts.
• Work with product managers and developers to make sure designs are implemented effectively.
• Study user behavior through research and usability testing to identify improvements.
• Refine designs based on feedback, testing outcomes, and product goals.
• Build and maintain design systems, reusable components, and style documentation.
• Record design choices and the reasoning behind them for team reference and alignment.
• Keep the balance between visual appeal and the functional needs of AI features.
• Incorporate AI-generated design elements into seamless user journeys.
• Stay current with modern UI/UX methods, accessibility practices, and AI trends.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of UI/UX design experience for digital products.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered products or features.
• Strong portfolio showing a user-centered design process from research to final output.
• Proficiency with Figma and other common design tools used in the industry.
• Good understanding of basic AI concepts and how they affect user experience.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with front-end basics such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience in agile product teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT is an advantage.
• Experience designing for music or entertainment platforms is also preferred.

Additional information

This role is based in Buena Park, California and is a full-time onsite position.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment where design decisions are informed by users, product needs, and AI capabilities.
