Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable, well-organized babysitter to provide after-school care for two school-aged children: an 8-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. The family is based in Fort Collins, Colorado, and the role is focused on creating a structured, supportive environment for the children after school.
Key Duties
- Pick up or transport the children for after-school activities as needed.
- Support both children with homework and school assignments.
- Prepare and serve snacks during care hours.
- Provide attentive supervision for a high-energy child who does best with routine and structure.
Schedule and Start Date
The position begins on Monday, July 20, 2026, with working hours from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Important Requirements
Driving is necessary for this role. The caregiver should be comfortable helping with academic work, especially since the children attend a classical school. The household does not have dogs or cats, but there is a cat in the home.
Additional Notes
The family is also looking for someone who may be available for future overnight stays because of work-related travel. This role does not include feeding, bathing, or bedtime responsibilities. It is best suited to a caring, patient, and reliable person interested in a long-term arrangement.
