About the role
A global Japanese company is looking for a Japanese-speaking Administrative Supervisor to deliver senior-level administrative assistance to the CEO, the corporate planning group, and other top leaders. The position calls for strong communication, the ability to work on your own, and steady coordination between teams in the U.S. and Japan.
Work schedule
The training phase may follow a different timetable. Working hours can also change depending on business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day administrative support for executive leadership and the corporate planning team.
- Act as the main communication link between the U.S. office and headquarters in Japan.
- Manage calendars, meetings, and communication across departments.
- Organize travel for expatriate staff, including airfare, lodging, and rental cars.
- Assist with tasks that require coordination across different global time zones.
- Help maintain positive working relationships with expatriates and internal teams.
- Work independently while completing assignments accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, including speaking, reading, writing, and interpretation.
- Proven background in administrative support for executives.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to manage several tasks and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Comfort working with international teams across time zones.
- Prior experience arranging travel for executives.
