About the Role

Aarunya Ventures is seeking a meticulous and skilled Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations within our FMCG distribution business. The role demands a candidate well-versed in accounting practices, taxation, and ERP software, capable of operating autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Key Activities

Generate bills and invoices using SAP and Tally software.
Keep financial records and books of accounts precise and up-to-date.
Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes efficiently.
Prepare, file, and ensure compliance with GST returns.
Manage TDS deductions, file returns, and adhere to statutory regulations.
Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations regularly.
Liaise with auditors, Chartered Accountants, banks, and suppliers.
Process payments from customers and to vendors promptly.
Compile MIS reports and assist with the monthly and annual financial closures.
Ensure full adherence to all relevant accounting and tax laws.

Candidate Profile

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline.
Have between 3 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably within FMCG or distribution sectors.
Proficient in SAP and Tally accounting software.
Sound understanding of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical capability, precise, and detail-focused.
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
