Accommodation Attendant

Role overview

Westport Estate is looking for an Accommodation Attendant to help keep guest spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming throughout their stay. The role focuses on maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, tents, and back-of-house areas across the Estate’s campsite and glamping section to a consistently high standard of hygiene and presentation.

Key duties

• Clean and prepare bedrooms and bathrooms on the campsite to the required standard.
• Replace bed linen, restock towels, and replenish guest toiletries and other amenities.
• Vacuum floors, remove dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Escalate maintenance concerns and any found property to the Caravan, Camping & Glamping Supervisor.
• Keep cleaning trolleys, tools, and supplies organised, safe, and in good condition.
• Work in line with health and safety rules, including safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Help maintain cleanliness in all shared areas and staff facilities when needed.
• Offer a courteous and welcoming interaction when meeting guests in public spaces.
• Maintain the Estate’s expected standards for appearance, cleanliness, and service at all times.

Experience and skills

Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not required. The position calls for strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, high cleanliness standards, and comfort working both independently and with others. A flexible schedule is important, including availability on weekends and public holidays. The employer also values discretion, dependability, and a polite, professional manner.
