About the Internship
This internship with Uboard India Limited provides hands-on experience in quality control and production support within the electric micro-mobility industry. The trainee will actively participate in various quality assurance and manufacturing improvement activities, contributing to the development and delivery of top-tier electric vehicles tailored for India.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) procedures on the production line.
- Support Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and final quality assessments of finished products.
- Contribute to fundamental research and development tasks, product testing, and problem-solving efforts.
- Observe manufacturing processes to detect and report quality or procedural concerns.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to facilitate corrective measures.
- Participate in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma lean initiatives aimed at operational excellence.
- Keep meticulous records related to inspections, quality reports, and production documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a Computer Science Engineering student with relevant academic or project background in manufacturing, quality assurance, electric vehicles, or product development.
- Basic understanding of quality inspection tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with IPQC, PDI, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, proficiency in MS Excel, and effective communication skills.
- Immediate availability to commence the internship during August–September 2026.
Additional Information
- Full-time internship conducted onsite in Delhi.
- Duration of six months.
- Monthly stipend ranging between INR 5,000 and 12,000.
- Interns will receive a certificate upon completion.
- Informal dress code is permitted during the internship.
