About the Internship
The She Can Foundation, a registered NGO committed to empowering underprivileged women, invites passionate backend development interns to contribute their technical expertise toward social impact. This role offers a chance to work remotely using diverse technologies such as Java, Django, PHP, MySQL, HTML, Python, MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and Bubble.io.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend systems that support the foundation's initiatives and activities.
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration and functionality alignment.
- Apply security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Enhance backend system performance and scalability to accommodate growing traffic and interactions.
- Perform detailed testing and debugging to promptly resolve software issues.
- Keep abreast of backend development trends and innovations to elevate system capabilities.
- Engage in team discussions and propose creative solutions to improve technological approaches.
