Accounting & Taxation Internship

About the Role

Gaurav Gada & Associates, a chartered accountancy firm proficient in accounting, GST, income tax, audits, and finance, is seeking an enthusiastic intern for a six-month engagement. The internship offers hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance under expert guidance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and submitting GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Compile income tax returns (ITR) and facilitate their filing.
• Compute TDS, handle return submissions, and conduct reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and enter financial data into Tally or ERP systems.
• Perform bank reconciliations and detailed ledger reviews.
• Support statutory and internal audit activities.
• Prepare essential financial documents such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Match GST 2B data with company accounts for consistency.
• Assist in drafting replies to inquiries from income tax and GST authorities.
• Ensure proper documentation and upkeep of compliance records.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

• Availability for full-time, in-office internship.
• Capable of beginning the program between August 4, 2026, and September 8, 2026.
• Commitment to the entire 6-month duration.
• Residency in Thane, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Virar, Vashi, Mira Bhayandar, Goregaon Kh, Boriwali, or Bandra.
• Possess relevant skills and enthusiasm for accounting and taxation.
• Encouragement for women seeking to start or resume careers.

Additional Details

• Monthly stipend ranging between INR 5,000 and INR 25,000.
• Certificate and letter of recommendation provided upon successful completion.
• The role is strictly on-site at the specified locations.
