We are expanding our Workplace Support Program in New Zealand and invite experienced professionals to join as Supervision Clinicians. This role offers flexibility with remote work options and multiple opportunities are available.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide professional individual and group supervision sessions to employees working in high-risk, stress-intensive roles for organizational clients.
- Conduct personalized 1:1 coaching to help employees manage psychosocial risks and build resilience specific to their occupational challenges.
- Offer reflective supervision to encourage clients to analyze the interaction between their work and personal life, promoting mental wellbeing strategies.
- Assess individual client needs and tailor supervision plans to support those in challenging and distressing workplaces.
- Apply evidence-based approaches and interventions to foster resilience and effective coping mechanisms among clients.
- Lead group supervision sessions facilitating peer learning and support among clients with related work exposures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for each supervision, tracking client wellbeing, health, and professional performance.
- Monitor and measure supervision quality by collecting and analyzing client and organizational feedback through surveys.
- Ensure adherence to professional and regulatory standards relevant to supervision practices within New Zealand.
- Oversee all Workplace Support Program supervision activities except Critical Incident and Employee Assistance Programs.
- Maintain billing effectiveness with at least 85% of supervision time devoted to billable client work.
- Manage scheduling for multiple clients and adapt supervision delivery across face-to-face and remote formats.
Candidate Profile
- Holds professional qualifications in Social Work or Psychology with recognized registration (SWRB or NZPB).
- Is a New Zealand citizen with a minimum of three years of counselling experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in reflective, strength-based supervision, particularly with trauma-exposed and conflict-affected clients.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced cultural sensitivity, and discretion with sensitive information.
- Possesses knowledge of service delivery metrics, KPI monitoring, and billing processes, balancing clinical care and operational demands.
- Has strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing diverse client needs and establishing goals effectively.
- Flexible in working across various modalities (in-person and remote) and committed to continuous professional development and evidence-based methodologies.
