About the Role
Located in London, Ontario, Canada, the Workplace Ambassador position plays a vital role in enhancing the office environment. This energetic, mobile role focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere across multiple floors by maintaining shared spaces, assisting colleagues, and promoting positive workplace experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Keep cafés, coffee areas, inclusive zones, and meeting rooms clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout each day.
- Manage café and coffee area operations including inventory control, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth function behind the scenes.
- Conduct regular floor inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly, coordinating any necessary cleaning, maintenance, or repairs.
- Ensure meeting rooms are properly set up and reset as needed for seamless use.
- Serve as an approachable, on-the-floor resource to assist colleagues with navigating the workspace and answering questions.
- Collaborate with various business teams to address daily workplace requirements.
- Support in-office events and enterprise programming by aiding setup, catering coordination, and event execution, including managing furniture arrangements to specified layouts.
- Welcome visitors and provide helpful direction and support within the facility.
- Submit and track facility and technology service requests to maintain smooth operations.
- Optionally serve in additional safety roles such as Fire Warden or First Aid Representative with provided training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience in office administration, hospitality, workplace services, or related fields.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, adaptable hospitality mindset focused on service excellence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging a diverse range of colleagues.
- Comfortable maintaining a visible presence and staying on your feet for extended periods, including lifting and moving supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-visibility corporate environment.
