Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant

About the Role

Jade Global is looking for an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to own the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise planning solutions. The role focuses on building scalable, automated models for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning while working closely with Finance and FP&A stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Design, configure, and develop complex Workday Adaptive Planning models, including those for expenses, headcount, revenue, and capital planning.
• Create and maintain advanced formulas, versions, attributes, and dimensional structures to support flexible business scenarios.
• Partner with Finance leadership as a planning advisor, capture business needs, and convert FP&A processes into practical technical designs.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and Office Connect templates to improve financial reporting and executive-level presentations.
• Work with IT and integration teams to build data flows from Workday Financials, external ERPs, HCM platforms, and CRM systems into Adaptive Planning.
• Protect data accuracy, investigate and resolve mismatches, and oversee data loading through Adaptive Integration tools.
• Administer security roles, user permissions, and instance settings in Adaptive Planning.
• Conduct training for end users and power users so they can adopt the system effectively and work independently.

Required Experience and Skills

• An active official Workday Adaptive Planning certification is mandatory; applicants without it will not be considered.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and tuning Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting.
