Overview

Our client, a premier financial services institution based in Qatar, seeks an experienced Treasury Specialist for a contract role lasting an initial 45 days, with possible extension opportunities. The role centers on the management of cash and liquidity within a regulated environment, ideal for an expert ready to make a strong immediate contribution on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash and liquidity operations, ensuring precise forecasting and timely reporting.
• Manage bank account positions and enhance cash flow efficiency.
• Support liquidity risk management adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
• Perform treasury reconciliations, maintain reports, and facilitate month-end routines.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Risk, and Compliance, as well as external banking entities.
• Ensure all treasury procedures comply with applicable financial regulatory standards.
• Contribute to special treasury projects and continuous process improvements as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 5 to 10 years of treasury experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of cash and liquidity management principles and practices.
• Strong grasp of treasury operations, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Comfortable operating in a business-as-usual environment with minimal onboarding time.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ready to begin swiftly for the initial contract term.
• Experience within the Qatar or broader GCC market is a plus but not mandatory.
