Transport Planner

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced planner who enjoys driving operational success. In this position, you will support customer operations by handling day-to-day transport planning through a Transport Management System. Your focus will be on keeping on-time delivery performance on track and quickly addressing any manual exceptions or issues that appear.

Key duties

• Work with internal teams and external partners such as carriers, replenishment groups, warehouses, and vendors to align expectations and keep transport movements running smoothly.
• Track compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements and other statutory obligations.
• Oversee supplier performance against agreed KPIs, including ordered-versus-received results and on-time delivery.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings transport planning experience in logistics, understands compliance and transport processes, and is comfortable using OTM and TMS. Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal skills, forecasting and demand planning experience, the ability to stay effective under pressure, and a strong customer service record are all important.
