Third Key Holder

Role overview

This position is suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced fashion retail, works well with others, and brings energy and a customer-first attitude. The Third Key Holder supports visual presentation, merchandising, and marketing activities while partnering with store leadership to keep the store and stockroom running smoothly. When senior leaders are not available, this person takes charge of day-to-day store operations.

Core duties

• Take responsibility for the store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are not present, including opening and closing, maintaining cleanliness, restocking, merchandising, customer service, and team oversight.
• Create a welcoming shopping experience by greeting customers, recognizing their needs, reconnecting with them when appropriate, and staying informed about products.
• Handle customer transactions at the register.
• Follow company rules, procedures, and policies at all times.
• Help the Store Manager ensure that workplace standards are met in line with the employee handbook.
• Carry out other related tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year of retail experience is required. A high school diploma is considered an advantage. The ideal candidate should be strong in sales and customer care, manage time well, prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, build positive working relationships, delegate tasks confidently, and lead a team in an encouraging and inclusive way.

Physical demands

This role requires the ability to remain on your feet for long periods, climb ladders, and move, lift, and handle merchandise and fixtures across the store, including items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Working schedule

Availability is needed on days, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation

The anticipated wage for this role is $18.45 to $18.95 per hour. The employer notes that wage updates may take up to three months after any minimum wage increase, in line with minimum wage legislation.
