Technician

Role Overview

The Technician will collaborate with the team to execute assigned repair and maintenance tasks daily under supervisor guidance. This role involves leading and ensuring the timely and successful completion of all designated jobs and routine maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance, and construction tasks efficiently as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist in developing and implementing maintenance management systems.
• Inspect equipment and document readings on log sheets or checklists.
• Supervise and coordinate junior technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Review installation procedures and documentation for new machinery installations and prepare necessary paperwork.
• Report work progress to the supervisor and hand over any incomplete tasks before shift end.
• Interpret and understand basic technical drawings, operational manuals, and maintenance guides.
• Coordinate procurement of spare parts with the supervisor for incomplete jobs.
• Ensure careful handling of tools and optimized consumption of materials.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment before, during, and after jobs.
• Consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety standards.
• Follow quality policies and systems compliant with ISO 9001:2000 standards and departmental procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of relevant practical experience in hospitality, catering, facility management, or project management sectors.
